ABOUT TEDxLUBM
At Lincoln University of Business and Management (LUBM), we believe education should do more than pass on knowledge. To us, it should empower people to lead, grow, and transform themselves into better versions. Our event collaboration is a natural extension of this vision. TEDxLUBM is more than a stage for ideas; it’s a platform for the ripples of change. The event revolves around one powerful truth: your richest investment is you. Designed for the region’s professionals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring leaders, this event is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reimagine what’s possible when you start investing in yourself.
Whether you’re seeking inspiration, clarity, or a renewed sense of purpose, this event will offer perspectives that can drive meaningful change in your career, mindset, and future. For those ready to grow, this is where it begins.
ABOUT TED
TED is a non-profit organization committed to the mission of “Ideas Worth Spreading.” What began as a four-day conference in California over 30 years ago has evolved into a global platform supporting ideas through a wide range of initiatives. TED hosts two annual conferences featuring some of the world’s most influential thinkers and doers, who share their insights in talks of 18 minutes or less. These talks are then freely available at TED.com.
Over the years, TED speakers have included renowned figures such as Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Sal Khan, and Daniel Kahneman.
The flagship TED Conference is held each spring in Vancouver, British Columbia. TED's media ventures include TED.com, TED Translators, and TED-Ed, along with initiatives like The Audacious Project, TEDx, and the TED Fellows program.
ABOUT TEDx
Inspired by the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TEDx is a series of independently organized, local events that create a TED-like experience. Each TEDx event blends TED Talk videos with live speakers to foster meaningful discussions and build connections within the community.
The “x” in TEDx signifies that the event is independently organized under the TED guidelines. While the TED Conference offers overall direction, each TEDx event is planned and executed by local teams, following specific rules and regulations.
